About Our Center

The Mid-America Sarcoma Institute represents a multi-disciplinary group of physicians who are devoted to the treatment of patients with bone and soft tissue tumors. The entire age range of patients, from infancy to the elderly, are treated in a kind, compassionate manner. Both benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system, metastatic disease that spreads to bone or soft tissues, and other bone diseases are treated at the Mid-America Sarcoma Institute.

Using state of the art techniques, physicians at the Institute are able to perform limb sparing surgeries that allow the patient to regain function and lifestyle. Conventional radiation therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (Cyberknife) lie within our armementarium in the treatment of Sarcoma. Our dedicated team of adult medical and pediatric oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, bone pathologists and radiologists, as well as physiatrists provide the best of care to our patients.
